Our story
Why we started Safety Nest
We started Safety Nest after seeing a close family friend suffer financially due to a lack of life insurance. This motivated us to create a service that helps Australian families protect their futures. Our mission is to provide personalised insurance solutions tailored to each family’s needs, whether it’s securing debt protection, covering school fees, or ensuring income security. With compassion and transparency, we work to make sure families are not left unprotected.
Insurance is an industry that rewards focus. The wording of a policy, the way an occupation is rated, the difference between two definitions of the same condition, all of it changes what you pay and whether a claim is paid. So we chose to do one thing well: personal risk cover for Australian families and the people who run small businesses. We are not a comparison site and we are not tied to a single insurer. We sit on your side of the table, do the homework, and stay with you long after the policy is in place.
